Weave the
Nest
Duneforge does not forge with fire or focus. We weave with beaks and shadows. On a cliff 340 meters above the Northumbrian sea, thirteen ravens build a nest of iron scraps, wool, and forgotten letters. Layer upon layer, the eyrie grows—each strand a memory, each chamber a Wickham-lettered secret. The nest is the loom; the raven, the scribe.
â–º Enter the EyrieThe Iron-Lettered Ledger
Sheets of thin iron, stolen from a shipwreck, are lettered by Wickham's own hand—each character punched with a cold chisel, each line a raven's memory. The pages are bound with wool from the same flock that feeds the nest. Read it, and the ravens remember you.
The Wind-Letter
A single feather, molted during the autumn gale, its quill slit and inked with sepia from the cliff-pool octopi. The script flows like the tide—unreadable to land-dwellers, but the ravens nod in recognition when it is read aloud at dusk.
The Arch-Keystone
A rough stone from the beach, hauled up the cliff by three ravens working in shifts. Carved with a single rune—the raven's own ogham. It sits at the apex of the eyrie's arch, holding the entire structure together with nothing but gravity and consensus.
